HOYRAN WEDRE
Hoyran Wedre is located in the quiet village of Hoyran which lies at the foot of the Taurus Mountains at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. It overlooks the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea with views of Kekova island and the Chelidonian cape.
Our boutique guest house lies at the heart of nature, surrounded by aromatic plants such as sage, thyme, oregano, and an endless forest where you can find trees of carob, bay, olive, fig and almond. The infinity pool which gazes upon the calming Mediterranean Sea is a great place to read, meditate and rest. The cottages are set in the midst of the beautiful gardens. Their architecture was inspired by traditional stone houses, and the rooms are decorated with lovely antique furniture.
Mornings here start with birds chirping and a peaceful day continues with the grazing of sheep and goats. Breakfast, lunch, complimentary tea and cake at 5 o’clock, and dinner are prepared using exquisite fresh ingredients, where we offer a wide range of traditional delicacies.
Apart from its beautiful nature and calming ambiance, Hoyran Wedre is encompassed by historical and archeological sites. Nearby are the fascinating Lycian archeological sites, Hoyran just a few minutes walk across fields , Trysa and Kyaneai. There's even a spectacular rock carved tomb in the centre of the village.
You can easily access the wonderful church of St Nicholas , the original Santa Claus, which is located in Demre.
The Lycian Way runs right in front of the guest house and it would make a perfect stopping point.
The natural surroundings and the rich historical aspect of Hoyran create a paradise where you can listen to the sound of silence, empty your mind, and simply enjoy a nourishing and relaxing getaway holiday.
